Blockouts to reduce your capacity:

Please note you cannot do this if yo ae in a request mode. You will have to manually block out.

In a scenario where you are short-staffed, you can change your maximum capacity. This means you will allow less customers in automatically than normally. 

Let's say your regular max pax set-up is that you automatically allow 60 customers into your restaurant every hour. You can find your regular max pax set-up by going to your set-up: 

This shows that you are allowing 60 customers every hour. 

You can change your blockouts so only 50% of capacity is blocked out (for example). You would input half of your normal maximum capacity to achieve this 50% drop.

The top block out for 01/09/2024 shows that I will be allowing 30 people in the restaurant at the selected times, 11:30 am - 2:00 pm. 

Whereas the blockout for 16/11/2024 is a full blockout from 11 am-11:45 am.
