Order batching collates orders on the same table number so they print on the same docket. Venues can adjust this batching time to suit their venue.
- Setting a longer batching time for food will help customers receive their orders at the same time by combining food orders from one table.
- Reduces the number of dockets in the kitchen, allowing Chefs to better manage orders.

Additional Info - Careful of Your 'Batching Times'
The 'Batching Threshold' is reset each time a QR code is scanned at a table. Let's say you had a 'Batching Threshold' of two minutes - the first order is placed 1 minute after the QR code is scanned and if the QR code is scanned again 1 minute and 30 seconds later...this will reset the timer, so the best-case scenario before sending the original order to person A will be 3 minutes and 30 seconds.
