WOWAPPS provides you with the links you need to embed your booking widget on any website that supports https links (such as your webpage and Insta bio and more).

Disclaimer 

All of the links are explained in the article below. Because every website is unique, it is nearly impossible to provide an installation guide here; however, if you contact support.wowapps.com the team will do their best to assist you in installing the booking widget on your website. However, in most cases, your web designer will have no trouble installing the widget.

Getting Your Widget Links

When you click on the ‘Preview and Links’ tab, you will see a few options:

• 'Direct Link to Widget' (opens booking widget in a pop-up).
• 'Code Snippet for Website' (embeds booking layout in page).
• 'Book Now' button (opens booking widget in a pop-up).

'Direct Link to Widget'

This is the preferred link and the simplest to add to your website. Using your website builder, you can easily copy and paste this link behind a button, which will then open the booking widget when clicked on your website.

'Code Snippet for Website' (Embeds Booking Layout in Page)

This code embeds the booking widget into your website (similar to what you see on the left side of the screen in the 'Preview and 'Links area).

'Order Now' Button

While this code is similar to the ‘Direct Link to Widget’ code, it will also generate a button on your website. The difference with this option is that the colours you specified in the logo/branding area are used for this button. If the colours are ever changed the button, regardless of where it is displayed, will automatically update to the new colours.

Advanced Marketing Tip

The following is a small hint, or tip we will use in more advanced articles. While the following does not have to be implemented right away, if understood, it is ideal to do so right away.

All WOWAPPS widgets allow you to add a 'Source Code' to each link. You can call it whatever you want and the benefit of doing so, is you will be able to see where your traffic is coming from.

The majority of WOWAPPS links look like this:

https://bookings.wowapps.com/make-booking/sheascafe?src=button1

Notice the src=button1 - this is known as your ‘Source Code’ - basically a way to know which link your customer has booked from.

You can change anything after the '=' to whatever you desire and then have your WOWAPPS report reflect this information.

For example:

https://bookings.wowapps.com/make-booking/sheascafe?src=fB2

https://bookings.wowapps.com/make-booking/sheascafe?src=instbio

https://bookings.wowapps.com/make-booking/sheascafe?src=holidaypromo

 I have made three links and changed the ‘Source Code’ in each one.

• Link one – I have put on a Facebook ad.
• Link two – I have put on my Insta bio.
• Link three – is a local community page that has done a write-up for me and people can book from.

Now let's assume that bookings happen at all three links and let’s take a look at the booking report:

Through the ‘Via’ column (you may have to click on the image) we can see that a booking happened at each link.

Why is this useful?

You can now start tracking where your traffic is coming from and who is ordering/booking with you. As the world moves toward more stringent privacy policies, tech behemoths make it more difficult to easily track where your marketing spend is coming from...this is one way to keep track.
