This section is for both POS and WOWAPS Bump-Bar users.  

 

WOWAPPS has a range of discounts that you can create and set up. You can have as many as you like running at the same time and activate/turn them all off with a switch of a button. To get to the discount tab, simply select orders from the left-hand screen and select discount. 

 

Difference Between Discount And Promotion 

The main difference between a discount and a promotion is:

  • A discount will require a code to be inputted for it to be activated
  • A Promotion activates without a code and is showing at the time of check out and on Google.

Creating a Discount

  1. From the discount, Tab select '+ Add Discount'

  3. Set up your discount and then hit save once done.
Code 'Name the discount' This is the code a customer must use to get the discount
Promotion If selected, you will then start to create a promotion. See below for more information here.
Percentage % If selected, enter the % amount of the discount 
Fixed ($) If selected, enter the fixed $ amount of the discount 
Applied To
Entire Order If selected, the discount will be applied to all items
Specific Product Categories  Choose to only have the discount eligible to items in specific categories 
Specific Products  If selected, the discount will only apply to specific products
Eligibility
Everyone If selected, the discount will be applied to anyone who uses the code
Specific member Groups If selected, only members that you have put in specific groups will be able to use the discount
Specific Members If selected, only specific members that you define will be able to use the discount. 
Minimum Req
Minimum Purchase Amount If selected, the customer must purchase a minimum amount to get the discount 
Minimum Quantity Of Items If selected, the customer must have a No# of items in their cart for the discount to apply.
Usage Limits
One Redeem Per Customer If applied, the discount can only be used once per person. (The system uses a customers phone number to determine if the customer is new or not)
App Only If applied, the discount can only be used in the app.
Active Dates Chose when the discount starts and when it ends

 

 

Promotions

As mentioned, a promotion does not require customers to enter a code to apply for the promotion and the promotion itself is displayed to the customer at checkout.

Code 'Name the discount' This is the code a customer must use to get the discount
Promotion 'Name the promotion' We use this to tell the customer what is going on.
Percentage % If selected, enter the % amount of the discount

Use as Google Promotion This promotion will be displayed as a promotion in Google Ordering. Note: Only one discount can be a "Google Promotion".
