The announcement text is an area where you can put special terms and conditions and have your customer acknowledge this before starting the ordering process.
A great example of this is announcing daily specials.
Other examples we have seen:
- Advising what the minimal delivery spend is.
- Takeaway hours.
- Or even just saying thank you for your support.
To Create an Announcement Text
- From the 'Orders' tab
- Select 'Setup'.
- Scroll down to 'Announcement Text'.
- Use the field provided to insert your text. You can view and edit additional formatting options by selecting the
icon. - Remember to 'Save'.
Use the 'Preview and Links' screen to see your edits.
Advance - Adding Images
To add an image such as the example above, follow the below instructions.
(Note: the image must be hosted online somewhere).
- Find your image (eg Facebook), right-click and select 'Copy Image' address).
- Once copied head over to WOWAPPS and to the 'Announcement Text' field.
- Click on the icon.
- Then select the 'Image' icon.
- A pop-up will appear. From here paste the image link in the URL field (right-click in space provided).
- Click out of the URL field.
- If done successfully, your image should appear.
- Should you wish, you can adjust sizing options.
- Remember to 'Save'.
