After you have created your 'Tables', it is time to start making your QR codes. QR codes are what your customers will use to scan before placing their order.
If you need to use the system-generated QR codes quickly, click the 'Print QR Codes' button at the top of the page.
This will open up a new tab and from there you will be able to print out the QR codes.
Using a QR Code Generator
If you have a bit of time, WOWAPPS suggests using a QR code generator like QR Code Monkey to generate and print your QR codes.
Doing it this way will open up additional branding opportunities such as:
- Changing/Setting Colours.
- Adding a Logo/Image.
- Customise Design.
It is also worth noting you are not tied to any particular website with this. If you want to get really fancy, you could hire independent contractors to insert your QR Code link to any table talkers.
The only thing you will need to submit from WOWAPPS is the QR-Code URL, regardless of how you go about it. You can easily obtain this by:
- With your mouse, right-click on the order buttonnext to the table you're wanting to create the QR code for.
- Select 'Copy Link Address'.
- Then paste the link either into the field provided by your QR code generator, or where ever is required.
Once you have generated the QR code, you will be given a chance to download and then print/send them wherever you like.
Handy to Know
Table names can be changed at any time without changing or modifying QR code links (learned later in this course).
You are free to have as many tables as you want. Don't limit yourself to what is available at your venue. For instance, if you serve small apartments or nearby businesses, you can create your own tables/QR codes that are specific to those businesses/rooms.
