Situations will come up where a customer wants to either purchase (or possibly be giving) an 'E-Gift Card' over the counter during service, or additionally you might want to create a one-off 'E-Gift Card' (custom).
Using the 'Add E-Gift Card' button (located in the section List & Redeem) you will be presented with an additional screen that looks like something of the below.
The First Step is to decide if the 'E-Gift Card' being created is standard or giveaway:
- Standard will suggest the card was paid for at the time of purchase.
- Giveaway suggests the card was used for promotional/fundraising etc.
The Second Step is to decide if you're using an existing card that has been created and listed in your 'Product' tab, or if it's a custom gift card.
- If custom, you will be asked to put a value on the card.
- If existing you can use the 'E-Gift Card Type' sector to select your card.
The Third Step - you will then be asked to add the recipient's email address and name.
The Fourth Step - once done, click 'Send'.
*As soon as you hit 'Send', the 'E-Gift Card' code will be sent to the nominated email address.
Once created, the new card will appear in your 'List and Redeem' table.
