(SMS activation is required; see this article for more information.)
- Scroll down to SMS Booking Service from the SMS Tab (My Account Section).
- By clicking on the switch, you can enable the service.
- Once enabled, you will be presented with a number of SMS options from which to choose. Simply flick the switch until it turns green, and then remember to save when finished.
Send an SMS to me when a new booking is received |
The system will send an SMS to the nominated phone number (outlined in the My Profile Tab) to notify you of a booking |
Send an SMS to the customer on automatically approved booking confirmation | When a booking is made, the system will send an SMS to the customer. |
Send an SMS to the customer on manually approved booking confirmation |
When you're using the Booking System in Request Mode. Once the booking is approved, the SMS will be sent. (This is recommended for users of the system in request mode.) |
Send an SMS to the customer on booking cancellations | If a booking is canceled by staff, an SMS will be sent to notify the customer. |
Send a reminder SMS to the customer of a booking | Have the option to send a reminder SMS to the customer. When activated, will require you to enter a number (in hours) for when this sms will be sent |
Send a SMS to the customer requesting they confirm their booking |
If Customer Booking Confirmation is turned on. Have the option to ask customers to confirm their booking via SMS instead of an email. |
Note: Except for Booking Confirmation, emails will be sent to customers based on the above milestones in addition to SMS.
