This course will walk you through the process of syncing/connecting your Square POS system to your WOWAPPS system.
Before You Start
Before we start, WOWAPPS recommends you have gone through the 'Getting Started With WOWAPPS' set-up. It won't take long and it's a fantastic way to get to know the system and introduce you to some core settings that all future lessons asssume you to know.
1 - From the WOWAPPS portal, navigate to the 'Orders' section on the left side of the screen. You will then be directed to the 'Setup Page'. Initially, you have a few options to consider. The options and their functions are listed below, but for the purposes of this course, we only need to make sure 'Enable Orders' is turned on.
2 - Switch on by simply clicking on the ‘Enable Orders’ switch.
3 - When finished, click 'Save'.
Additional Order Functionality
(The below functionality and more will be discussed in greater detail later in the set-up articles).
|Enable Orders||Turns the WOWAPPS system on and gives the ability to accept orders.|
|Enable Widget in App||Turns the WOWAPS ordering system on in your mobile app. To learn more about your app, please click here.|
|Enable Tables||Enables the 'Table Ordering' function. To learn more about 'Table Ordering', click here.|
|Enable Pre-ordering||Enables customers to order ahead up to two weeks and within your menu times. To learn more click here.|
|Enable Order Ready Notifications||Enable the ability to notify customers their order is ready. This function is not supported by all POS connections. Please see the individual POS set-up for more info here.|
|Enable Google Ordering||Enable 'Google Ordering'. Have customers order directly from Google and be found in more places. Find out more by clicking here.|
