When a customer places an order, the time the system tells DoorDash (Except for when its a pre-order) Is the time stated on your ‘pick-up’ dial, located on the sliding bar in the Orders - Set Up area.
For example, based on the example above, if an order comes in at 12pm, the driver is booked for 12.10pm.
The time that the customer is told is based on the 'Delivery Time' found in the delivery tab of the Orders section in WOWAPPS
For example, based on the example above, if an order comes in at 12pm, the customer is told that delivery should be around 12:25
So if we were to combine the process.
The customer orders at 12pm and will be told to expect the delivery at 12:25
You as the restaurant owner is told to have the order ready by 12:10
As the driver is also told to be at your venue by 12:10
Things to note
The customer will be sent a tracking link to their mobile to track the status of the order
You as the Restaurant Owner will be notified of driver updates either via your POS os or the WOWAPPS Bump-bar. This process will be explained in future articles
