As soon as you turn on delivery and connect to Doordash, additional options will be displayed. All of these are optional, which means that you can leave them as they are and you will still be able to proceed with Deliveries:
Contribute to the delivery fee |
Here you can decide how much you would like to contribute per order to minimize the cost of delivery to your customers. If you leave it at $0, the customer will have to cover the total delivery cost of the order. Increasing the amount of money you contribute per order could be an incentive to get more customers to place orders, as the cost of their deliveries will be reduced. It is important to note that customers cannot see the cost of deliveries until they reach the final step of the delivery process. |
Minimum Spend |
Here, you can enter an amount to add a minimum spend to all delivery orders. For example, suppose $20 was entered here, before the delivery order is accepted, a customer order must exceed $20. Note - You could use this option to work hand in hand with contributing to the delivery fee to control cost. |
Add delivery times |
Do you only want delivery available only at certain times of the day? This is the right section to set up these times. It is more popular among restaurants that have their own delivery system. Note: if left blank (the default), delivery will be available at all times your menu hours have been defined. |
