In this article, we will walk through the Table Mode section and get to know the various views and features it has to offer.
To access this Timeline, simply go to Bookings, and then click on Timeline located in the top right corner. Remember that you will only be able to access this Timeline if you have previously added tables to your venue!
|New Booking||This is the window where you can make a new booking in the system.|
|Wide Timeline (OFF)||Here you can toggle between a small and wide View.|
|Switch to Bump Bar||This button reverts you to the WOWAPPS bump bar.|
|Timeline List||This should take you to the Timeline List mode.|
|Booking Setup and Availability||This button will take you to the WOWAPPS Booking Settings.|
|Square Button||This button enables full-screen mode.|
|Unconfirmed and Allocated Bookings||Unconfirmed and unallocated bookings will be saved in this section.|
|No-show and cancelled reservations||Reservations that are no-shows or cancelled will be saved in this section.|
|Date view||The date can be changed by selecting the current date and using the calendar widget to choose a new day. Also, you can choose either the current day or a specific day from the choices below.|
|Tables||This is where you can see a list of available tables.|
|Running Time of Day||This is where you can see the reservations made at a specific time of day.|
Reorganising Your Tables
WOWAPPS allows you to reorganise your tables into a view that suits you.
Step 1: To begin, navigate through Bookings and then to Availability.
Step 2: Select Tables and Sections.
Step 3: Navigate to the Tables tab.
Step 4: In the Tables column, begin changing the numbers to suit your needs and the order you prefer.
Step 5: When you are finished, click Save.
Step 6: Return to the Timeline to see the changes made based on your configuration.
Two Ways to Make A Booking
There are two options for making a reservation.
Option 1: Booking through the New Booking Button
Choose and press the New Booking button. Fill in the required information in the pop-up window that appears. To learn more about this option, browse this article.
Option 2: Booking based on the Timeline.
Step 1: Click on the date field to select the date for which you are making the booking.
Step 2: After you have chosen a date, go to the time the booking is for and click on the table row to which the booking is attached.
Step 3: A pop-up window will appear, prompting you to make a new booking. Fill in the necessary information and click Save.
Moving Tables On The Timeline
Step 1: To move the booking to another table, click on the booking itself.
Step 2: When the pop-up window appears, choose the table to which you want your booking to be transferred.
Step 3: Click Save.
Splitting Tables On The Timeline
Step 1: To divide the booking into multiple tables, simply click on the booking itself.
Step 2: Select the option to split the booking into multiple tables.
Step 3: Choose the additional tables for which you want to split the booking.
Step 4: To update your timeline, click Save.
It is worth noting that you can tell if the booking has been split if you see orange boxes around the split tables, which implies that these tables are joined.
Editing Booking Details
Step 1: Select the booking that you want to make changes to.
Step 2: A pop-up window will appear on your screen. Update accordingly by selecting the specific details and clicking on them.
Step 3: To change the number of customers in a specific booking, select the appropriate number from the drop-down list on the Pax field.
Step 4: To make changes to the contact information, click on the pencil icon next to the booking name and make the necessary changes to the information.
