Step 1:
Log in to your manager's app.
Navigate to the Bookings section.
Click on Deposit.
Step 2:
In the list of bookings, locate the customer booking you want to view.
Look across the row for the booking and find the column labeled DEPOSIT.
In the DEPOSIT column, you should see an amount (e.g., $50.00) with the label PRE-AUTH below it.
At the far right of the same booking row, click the View button.
- This section will display:
- Deposit Amount (e.g., $50.00)
- Deposit Fees
- Status labeled as PRE-AUTH
Step 3:
Click the blue Charge Card button.
- This will convert the pre-authorized amount into an actual charge.
- We recommend being as transparent in your deposit note area when you will be charging - how many hours notice due you need for cancellations ect
Please note
If more than three days have passed since the booking date, you will no longer be able to charge the card.
This restriction is in place for security reasons and to prevent accidental charges.
That said, you may be able to log in to your payment provider directly and take additional steps from there, depending on their policies.
