Overview
This guide explains how to connect your Google Business Profile to WOWAPPS so customers can book or place orders directly from Google Search and Google Maps using Reserve with Google.
Who This Is For
Venue owners setting up Reserve With Google for the first time.
Before You Start
Make sure you have:
- Admin access to your Google Business Profile (https://business.google.com)
- Owner-level access in WOWAPPS
Step-by-Step Setup
Step 1: Access Integration Page
- Log in to your WOWAPPS Manager
- Go to Settings
- Open the following link:
https://ca.wowapps.com/settings/business-integration
Step 2: Complete Integration Steps
- Scroll down the integration page
- Locate the section “Steps to Grant Access”
- Follow each instruction carefully to begin the Google Business integration process
Step 3: Copy Access Details
- Find the section “Google Business Integration”
- Copy the email address shown (service account email)
- Also copy the provided link if required
Step 4: Add Access in Google Business Profile
- Go to https://www.google.com/business
- Sign in with your business Google account
- Click the three dots (⋮) in the top right corner
- Select Business Profile Settings
- Go to People and Access
- Click Add Users
- Enter the email:
wowapps-business@wowapps-business-profiles.iam.gserviceaccount.com - Set role to Manager (or appropriate access level)
- Click Invite to send the request
Step 5: Verify Connection
- Wait up to 48 hours for changes to take effect
- Search your venue on Google Maps
- Check if the Reserve / Book a Table button appears
Troubleshooting
If the button does not appear after 48 hours:
- Go to WOWAPPS Manager → Settings → Integrations → Reserve With Google
- Check if the status shows Connected
- If there is an error, repeat the setup steps
