What is Short Selling?

Short Selling allows you to accept smaller bookings on larger tables.

For example:

• If you have a 6-seater table, normally you'd only accept bookings for 6 people.
• With Short Selling enabled, you can accept smaller groups (like 2 or 4 people) on that same 6-seater table.

Why Use It?

• Maximize table usage during slower hours.
• Increase flexibility in managing table availability.
• Help fill your venue, even if bookings are below full capacity.

Step 1:

Log in to your Manager’s App.

From the home screen, tap on “Bookings.”

Under the Bookings menu, tap on “Table/Sections.”

Inside the Table/Sections settings, tap on “Joining & Selling.”

Find the “Short Selling” option and toggle it ON.

Finally, tap “Save All Changes” to apply the settings.

Step 2:

Select the table you want to apply Short Selling to.
Note: Make sure to choose the correct table —
Short Selling is only applicable to tables with 4 pax and above.

Tap on “Joining & Selling.”

Toggle ON the Short Selling option.

Set the Minimum Size (smallest group size allowed to book this table).

Tap “Save All Changes” to apply the settings.
