Overview
The AI Calls feature in WOWAPPS allows your business to automate phone interactions with customers using AI-powered voice agents. This feature helps handle customer inquiries, bookings, and order processing efficiently while also giving the option to transfer calls to a human when needed.
Getting Started
To access the AI Calls feature:
- Go to https://ca.wowapps.com/
- Login to your account

In the left-hand menu, click AI Calls
Key Features
1. Welcome Message
Default Message: Pre-set greeting message that will be used for incoming calls.
Example: “Hi, thanks for calling {{VendorName}}. How can I help you today?”
Custom Message: You can create a personalized greeting to match your business tone and style.
2. AI Phone Numbers
AI Call Number: The primary number used by the AI system to receive calls.
Human Handoff Number: A number where calls can be transferred if the AI cannot handle the query. This ensures smooth customer service for complex requests.
3. AI Voices
You can select the voice of the AI agent for calls. Available options include:
- Paul
- Emma
- Tom
- Kate
Each voice option can be previewed using the play button before selection to ensure it fits your brand’s tone.
4. AI Voice Agents
These are specialized AI agents designed to handle specific types of calls. Each agent can be enabled or disabled depending on your needs.
Booking Type
AI agents that manage reservations and booking inquiries. There are different booking types to suit various levels of customer interaction:
1 – SMS Only
- This is the simplest booking type.
- It sends a link via SMS to the customer.
- There is no AI interaction or guidance; the customer simply clicks the link to proceed with the booking.
2 – Standard Guided Booking
- The AI guides the customer through the booking process.

Steps include:
Asking for the preferred time and package.
Checking availability.
Sending a payment link if a deposit is required.
Performing additional minor steps automatically.
This option is more interactive than SMS only. It is AI-assisted.
3 – Premium Full Booking
Orders Type
AI agents that handle order-related inquiries and requests. There are different order types to suit various levels of customer interaction:
1 – Link Only
2 – Menu Browse + Link
3 – Place Order (Menu, Modifiers, Upsells)
5. Restaurant Information / AI Assistant Guidance
- You can enter additional information in this section to help the AI answer customer questions more accurately.

Focus on details not already included in your restaurant profile, such as:
Specific menu items
Promotions
Policies or instructions for customers
Basic details such as operating hours, address, and phone number are automatically included in AI responses.
6. Save Changes
- After configuring the settings, click Save Changes to apply updates.
Tips for Using AI Calls
- Use Custom Messages to personalize customer interactions.
- Set Human Handoff Number to ensure customers can speak to a human when needed.
- Choose the AI Voice that aligns with your brand identity.
- Provide Additional Info to help AI handle inquiries accurately.
