All E-Gift Cards—whether purchased online or manually issued—can be applied during checkout. Each gift card comes with a unique code that the customer can use to pay partially or fully for their order.
This guide explains how customers can use their E-Gift Cards when placing orders through your WOWAPPS ordering system.
How Customers Use an E-Gift Card
Locate the Gift Card Code
The customer receives their unique E-Gift Card code via email after purchase.Enter the Code at Checkout
During the checkout process, the customer enters their code in the Gift Card/Promo Code field of your ordering widget.Payment Application
If the gift card value is equal to or greater than the total order amount:
The order will be marked as paid.
Any remaining balance on the gift card will be updated automatically.
If the gift card value is less than the total order amount:
The customer will pay the remaining balance using another payment method.
The gift card balance will be reduced accordingly.
Track Gift Card Usage
After the order, you can view the remaining balance of the gift card in the List and Redeem tab under Gift Cards.
This ensures accurate tracking of gift card balances and redemptions.
