Overview

Menus in WOWAPPS control when specific categories and products are shown to customers. By setting menu times, you can ensure the right items appear at the right time—such as breakfast items in the morning and dinner items in the evening.

Step-by-Step Guide

1. Go to https://ca.wowapps.com/and login your WOWAPPS account.
   

2. Go to the Orders module
   

3. Select Menu
   

4. Click Add Menu
   

5. Enter a name for your menu in the Title field

   Example: Breakfast Menu, Lunch Menu, Dinner Menu
   

6. Set Menu Days and Times

   Define when the menu will be available to customers.
   If your menu runs at different times on different days, you can add multiple time periods.

   1. Set the start and end times

   2. Select the applicable days

   3. Click Add Period to create additional schedules if needed
      

   If your menu has a split shift:

   1. Click Add Time

   2. Choose the start and end time for the split shift

   3. Repeat as needed for additional time ranges
      
       

7. Assign Categories to Your Menu

   If you already have categories created, make sure to assign them to your menu so they appear during the selected times.
   Note: If you haven’t created categories yet, proceed to Menu Build – Lesson 2: Create Categories.
   

8. Once all days and times are set, click Save.

   

Best Practices

• Name menus clearly for easy management

• Double-check time settings to avoid missing items

• Use split shifts for menus that pause and resume during the day
