A Product Modifier allows customers to customise a product by selecting options such as add-ons, toppings, sides, or variations. Modifiers enhance flexibility in ordering and can include extra charges if needed.
Example:
For a burger, you can allow customers to choose add-ons like Cheese, Bacon, or Avocado, each with its own price.
How to Create a Product Modifier
Step 1: Access Products
In the menu, go to Orders > Products.
Step 2: Select a Product
Choose the product you want to add a modifier to.
Click the Edit button
Step 3: Go to the Modifier Tab
Click on the Modifier tab to start creating customizations for the product.
Click Add New Modifier
Step 4: Name Your Modifier
Enter a heading that describes the customization.
Example: “Choice of Toppings” or “Select Your Side”
Step 5: Choose Selection Type
Single: Customer can select only one option
Multiple: Customer can select more than one option
Step 6: Set Requirement
Optional: Customer can skip this modifier
Required: Customer must select at least one option before adding the product to the cart
Step 7: Add Options
For each option in the modifier:
Available: Toggle on/off to control visibility
Item Name: Enter the name of the option (e.g., Pepperoni, Extra Cheese)
Additional Price: Enter any extra cost for the option
Pre-selected: Check this to have the option automatically selected
Tip: Name and price are applied globally to all products using this modifier.

How to Delete Modifier
Trash bin icons next to each item (Pepperoni, Cheese, Bacon)
These delete individual options within the modifier.
Example: Clicking the trash bin next to “Bacon” will remove only the Bacon option from this modifier, but the modifier itself (e.g., “Choice of Toppings”) will remain.
2. “Delete Modifier” button at the bottom
This deletes the entire modifier along with all its options.
Example: Clicking this will remove the “Choice of Toppings” modifier and all items under it (Pepperoni, Cheese, Bacon).
Best Practices
Use clear, customer-friendly names for options
Set appropriate additional prices for extra items
Mark required modifiers when necessary to ensure proper customization
