This article outlines how the menu was built based on the provided menu files, including item setup, category structure, and modifier configuration.

Menu Build Flow

Menu Template Preparation

To ensure a clean and accurate build, we:

• Exported your existing menu structure from Square

• Cleaned the spreadsheet to remove old or unused products

• Prepared a fresh template for rebuilding the menu

This approach helps prevent duplicates and sync errors.

Rebuilding the Menu

Using your provided menu:

• Items were recreated with correct names and prices

• Categories were assigned correctly

• The full menu was rebuilt to reflect your original layout

Modifier Configuration

Where applicable, modifiers were added to items, such as:

• Size options

• Add-ons

• Custom selections

Each modifier was:

• Created in Square, ensuring the modifier name matches both the spreadsheet and Square.

• Linked to the correct products

• Verified for proper display and behaviour

WOWAPPS Item Tagging

All items and categories created during setup were tagged with a “WA -” prefix.
This helps identify which items were created as part of the WOWAPPS setup and makes future management easier.
