Now that your menu has been successfully built in Square and synced to WOWAPPS, this guide outlines the next steps to review, verify, and prepare your menu for live use. These checks help ensure everything displays correctly for your customers and that your store is ready to accept orders.
Step 1: Review Your Menu in WOWAPPS
To access the widget:
Log in to your WOWAPPS account.
From the left menu, go to "Orders".
Click on the "Widget" tab.
Click "Open Preview".
Review the following:
Item layout and order
Category arrangement
Modifier selection and functionality
Overall accuracy and usability
Step 2: Verify Menu Details
Review key details in WOWAPPS:
Prices are correct
Items are assigned to the correct categories
Modifiers and options are complete
Unused categories or items are hidden
Step 3: Make Adjustments (If Needed)
If changes are required:
Update items, prices, or modifiers in Square
Sync the menu again to WOWAPPS
Recheck the widget preview
Step 4: Confirm Trading Hours & Menu Availability
Make sure the following are properly set:
Trading hours
Menu availability or menu times (if applicable)
Visibility of items and categories
Step 5: Test Ordering Flow
Before going live:
Select items with modifiers
Add items to cart (if applicable)
Step 6: Go LiveĀ
Once everything looks good:
Your menu is ready for customers
You can begin accepting orders through WOWAPPS
